INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

For this 2021 internship I, Joshua Gorrell, have worked on launching LePop Gardens an Urban Farm in West Philadelphia (6013 Hazel Ave.) with the Creative Players company. I was supervised under Natalie Kenney, the CEO and founder of Creative Players. Starting on May 17th up until the first of August I operated as the project assistant and was very hands on throughout the summer. I was in charge of contacting/booking a contractor and a landscaping business for the project. I created the Instagram account, developed the format and a skeleton of the website for LePop, and helped with manual labor as well. I also kept and routinely updated a file of a briefing on how we wanted the space to be used. 
I have worked under Natalie and her creative agency (Creative Players) as a photographer, DJ, and a part of her creative directing team. Our history together has produced and influenced some of Philadelphia's finest events and creative spaces. Natalie specializes in experiential marketing and event programming. She assists businesses and brands to think in non-traditional ways to engage their target markets and develop brand loyalty. Her areas of focus are Live Events, Influencer Event Programming, Digital Campaign Strategy & Product Seeding. I believe that under her leadership and guidance I will be more than prepared to enter the workforce as someone who is confident in all that I have to offer a company and/or business.
